The North Coast of the Dominican Republic is partially very touristic like Las Terrenas, Cabarete, Sosua, and Puerto Plata.
Buen Hombre is a 3.5-hour drive from the Puerto Plata airport or 2,5 hours drive from Santiago International Airport; Santo Domingo Las Americas Airport is more than 4-hour drive.
The typical Dominican way is to travel by the guaguas and carritos which are a lot of fun but quite complicated with kite bags and a suitcase. :) Happy travels to the Dominican Republic.

Once you arrive in Buen Hombre or Cabarete, there is no need to rent a car, as our kite school is located within walking distance. However, if you prefer to explore the country on your own, we have jeeps available for rent at our Buen Hombre location.
